CO-X is an office space located in downtown Kelowna. Used as a co-working environment that is DYNAMIC, cost effective and supports social restrictions.   The re-purpose of the design is due to the recent outbreak of 

COVID-19. 

The idea is to create a space that is safe and comfortable. Adopting design practices that 

are common in HEALTHCARE facilities to keep individuals safe from the virus. With the six foot rule in mind having wayfinding to 

direct one-way traffic to social distance in an easy comfortable manner.  

Using biophilia throughout the space allows workers to reduce stress, be more energized, motivating and will enhance the office experience. Using materials in the space that are NATURAL, eco-friendly and promote sustainability will give a casual yet comfortable feel.
